Once again I present to the DPC voters Aidan. He really has been helpful lately. He sometimes grumps and groans on our way to the shoot but when I ask him to pose a certain way he usually does happily.

This was taken in our neighbors backyard (see the acronym challenge for more of their backyard). Taken in the shade of their house as the sun was going down. There is no watch or clock, but if this doesnt fit the description of this challenge any better than I dont know what. The picture is of Aidan at around 6 months taken at one of those traveling in store photo setups. We dont use them anymore. In fact Rowan has only ever been to one for a family shoot.

Aidan is growing up so fast its crazy. Seeing these two side by side is hard to believe that they are the same critter. I hope this does well, but again the prize is having this shot to begin with.

PP - RAW conversion, levels, sat, dodging and burning, NI, USM, small amount of cloning, selective blur, resize and border.

a lovely shot.

it's very odd, seeing all tehse children on dpc growing up, feeling like you know them, yet knowing you'll probably never meet them.

Intersting placement of subject and use of bench. Cute child. Image is oversharpened and since the bench is off level counterclosewise that acts as a minor distraction. Offsetting the main subject would have added more interest to the composition..

HEE HEE What a cutie. Adorable face. He looks so pleased with himself. Might've been fun to have him holding the baby pic in his lap.
