great composition, and I really like the dof choice. wish the background was lighter, or perhaps a different color altogether so that the flower and its colors stood out more.

I like the flower, but think a different color background would have worked better. The flower is enough red for the challenge.

Beautiful scarlet flower, not sure about the crimson back ground. The vase just distracts
