I thought and thought and decided on doing the dreaded red eye that we strive to not do with our photos. Let me tell you that trying to do this on purpose was a bit harder than I thought. I somehow managed.

I snapped the photo using my tripod, cropped it to the eye area, sharpened it, and then resized it.

hmm.. I'm not a fan of the ole red eye !! :-).. I think this could have worked better for me if it was a closer crop & the stray hairs were pulled back. Maybe if the skin was painted white or something. Basic editing doesn't leave much room for anything pp.
