this is a scary lookin fella. Is he really a pencil holder? this is great use of a pencil for a photo and I like the originality. great background and lighting. focus and frame placement are also very good. good luck in the challenge.

my god, that thing is ugly! ;) you did take a nice photo of it though, the black background is good and centering the object is fine here. for some reason the eyes look a little out of focus. -- gr8photos (5)

i like this idea. i would probably have used a different color pencil. one that doesnt blend in with the colors of the dragon. maybe find a pencil that is the same color as the eyes. the shot is a little to straight on for me. i would like to see it with a different background. maybe a similar color to the eyes with a narrow dof. nice effort.

background very good (so exposure), but composition and subjet, being correct, seems to me a lot of static and without interest (5)

Very strange (and unique) with great colors. Perhaps a little longer exposure or additional lighting would have brightenen this up a bit.
