I promised I would use a few more of the London shots, so that's what I'm doing (though I still have some Norwich shots, too). This was taken while waiting for the Underground at King's Cross/St. Pancreas Station.

I had to work on the noise, as I didn't want to use a flash and so had the aperture wide open and the ISO at max. Lots of noise followed.

RAW processing; converted to B&W with gradiant map and selective color; levels; curves; contrast; neat image; unsharp mask; resize; add border; save for web.

Wonderfully claustrophobic feel to this shot - it's "busy" but that's appropriate for the subject matter.

Great shot. I wish I had the nerve to do some "People Shots". It seem like every time I get my camera out in public everyone is staring at me suspiciously.

quite interesting to see your world, the people & sights. this shot is nice showing the bored expressions on people's faces.

This has a neat "curved" feeling to it. And in shots like these, sometimes noise is just fine.

I love the underground. It is a great way of transport. A bit crowded at peak times but what can ya do.

Amazing how everyone is so oblivious to your camera!

looks very nice in b&w, and I like how you converted it too ;) Ilike how it bends around the corner, and I like the candid/realness of the scene.

This is really fabulous - what a great job! Good with the contrast, angle, crop (or choice of frame). I'm not sure about the faded boarder. To me it seems distracting; but maybe I'm being too unflexible. :o)

This is nice and interesting. The ceiling looks low and it looks cramped.....I've never been on a subway before.

Fantastic.....I love these urban shots, I have never been able to walk around these tunnels without thinking of 'American Werewolf in London'!!

This is a great shot! I like the curved feel of the tunnel and your fade border. Lots of good contrast as well.
