 My chow/retriever mix, Tank. We adopted him as a pup, from a rescue organization that acquired him from the local animal shelter. This is dedicated to all of the animals who don't have a voice. The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals is a longstanding effort to save and help those poor creatures left behind.

Awwwwwww! He's so cute :o You made a good choice when you took this one! I have 2 rescue dogs myself ;) This is a lovely shot and I am again astounded that it did not do better! The ASPCA is not widely enough known and I would be willing to bet if you sent them this shot as a promotional with some text, they would use it. It is great.

Way underrated, Judy. Fit the acronym perfectly and you caught the perfect look on the dog's face. An excellent shot all around.

The way I read this - this dog has an incredibly trusting and almost needy look to him - your acronym represents prevention of cruelty to these very sweet and gullible critters. In other words, I think you definitely succeeded in meeting the challenge.

I like the photo a lot - am having trouble deducing the acronym, though. But maybe it is dog acronym speak :-)
