Ok, I got my beach shoes! Hey, is that thing leaning a bit? :)

Nice shot, You did well with the waves crashing against the rocks.

I like that splash to break up the calm of the rest of the photo.

Wonderful composition with the splashy water in the front. Colors are beautiful. I would like to see that cloud a little lighter to compliment the white water - if I'm being nitpicky. Can't wait to see more beach photos - I'm all about the beach. :o)

I really like the choices you made here with this shot; the movement in the water, the composition, and the lighting are all nice. The sky looks like it had some potential (especially with the white fluffy cloud hanging up there), but honestly I'm not good enough with skies to offer any real advice (I probably would have added a layer, selected the sky, clipped the rest out of that level, and played with levels/curves/color just for the sky, and then tried to blend it back in with the underlying image -- this sometimes leads to disastrous results that I then delete, though, so there must be a better way!).

I like the slowish shutter speed to give the water that look. If you have time and are so inclined, try working with selective color or color balance to get rid of a bit of yellow and maybe magenta in the picture. It will enhance the sky and really make the water pop.

Gasp!!!!! I LOVE the dramatic effect of that slow dreamy water splashing up against the rocks. Lighthouse pictures inspire such peace and calm. I love this photo!
