 Taken at the children's parade in Mainz. I have a few other shots of these guys - one where she puts her hat on the dog and steps back to take a picture. They were cute!

The Technicals: Focus, DOF and contrast are all nicely done. The obvious downside is the overexposure of the dog and the white portion of the man's coat and hat. It may be possible to handle some of this with Shadow/Highlights in Photoshop, otherwise you would have had to compensate when you shot it.

The Feel: Makes me smile. I do like the square crop which emphasizes the symmetry between their outfits. The DOF does isolate them a bit, which is good. If possible I may have given just a slightly more generous crop on both sides, but maybe you were forced to do this because of objects or people just out of the frame.

The game: Ya, pretty subtle for DPC. Screw them. You probably would have gained a few tenths if you could have controlled that highlight.

This is so cute! What a great street photo! You got so many really great ones!

I think it is a cute depiction of love too. Much more deserving than 5.0 :(

Very cute shot. The dog just looks so comfortable there. I guess you have to love your dog to carry it like that. I think this would have been really nice if the background was more out-of-focus.

ask them to turn around - it's fun to meet people - and they'll be pleased you want a photo of their fun clothes! Right now this is a photo of a dog, and a title about something else. Kind of disconnected.

Matching silly outfits, and a clown across the street... and is that a stroller wheel going down the middle of the street? This one definately makes me wonder what was going on when this was taken.
