Nice an close, although I think if you could have a little more depth so that more of the thorax were in focus, it would help. It's hard to keep these guys sitting still.

wow. is that a bug on the fly? the sparkles form the fly's wings a little distracting. maybe a little more DOF? but i can see how the shallow DOF draws attention to the bug on the nose of the fly.

Nice macro, could have done with much more DOF as while the important face and eyes are in focus, the body is very promanent in the image and it's out of the field of focus so quite distracting
