Okay, I am SO giving this a ten. It's out of focus and noisy, but so was my brain when I was studying bio in college. ;-D

Good idea! It looks like your camera couldn't focus quite this close, so everything's a little blurry. One thing you can do is back up a little so that everything's in focus, then crop it down to the framing you want afterwards.
