I worked on this with different positons of the fruit and varied lighting. I am still working with make shift lights and back drops. Practice,practice and practice. I will get it right soon. I also set up a lot of veggies but I did not like the compostion since they were all just laying up against the other and piled up, so some of the pieces were a tad OOF. This was one of my favorites of the whole bunch.
I am setting up one of my kitchen counters which has an under counter light. I have various colored poster boards as back drops and a black jersey knit cloth on the counter. I used two clamped incandescent lights placed at different angles.

The composition is good. I think the red border is a tad distracting. I might've done it with a deeper version and made the opacity less so that it isn't quite such a bright crimson. The light is a touch harsh on the lemons. Maybe up the black a bit so that the background is more solid. Hope this is helpful. ;~D
