 My Daughter Robyn practising her violin, something we do most evenings!!
Lit by two desklamps, one on the music and one held above the violin.
Shot in RAW, neat image, adjusted levels and saturation, USM. Cropped and saved for web.

I would have rathered you focus in on the music sheet and left the hand blurry. It's a matter of preference.

Bravo! That's for getting her to practice! She has perfect hand position on the bow, though her thumb could be bent just a little more and on the lower portion of the frog. Oh, the picture...right. Good detail and good lighting. Focusing on her hand is interesting in that it accentuates the action in this shot. Nice job.

Nice perspective, but I think it would have helped the shot if the music in the background were a little more in focus, to at least make it easier to tell that it's music.
