didnt go to picton ... went to camden instead ... i'm passenger in car with my daughter aLi driving ...

coz its a bit different i'm putting in the original ...

the green 'P' on the windscreen is because she's a provisional driver .. in australia, after we've been learners and before we have a full licence we have firstly a red 'P' for a year and then a green 'P' for another 2 years .. they have steeper penalties on provisional licences and cant consume any alcohol whereas a full licenced driver can have 2 glasses of alcohol in the first hour and then one every hour after that for a man, and one drink in the first hour and one every hour after that for a woman ..
that's the registration sticker on the top left ...

Interesting gender rules on drinking there...if the woman was 175 pounds and the man was 110 pounds, those kind of rules in US, would land a lot of people in the hospital!

There seems to be an overly blue cast to this image. Was this intended or a result of the windshield tinting?

I like the "Caution, Legs Without Bodies" signs in this one.

Fascinating details about licensing and drinking - and interesting that a person's size doesn't factor. How do bar patrons feel about being regulated? Are flasks popular? It's difficult to imagine our authorities trying to instate something similar here!

Love your street lights and those cute yellow signs with the walking feet.....ours don't look like that!

What a charming downtown! I love to go to small towns like this and just stroll around. It's so different from our sky scrapers and glass! This has a great feel to it.

Hey in Melbourne our P plates are RED! I haven't seen the green ones before - maybe I should look out for them - shows how old I am - and the fact that it's another 10 years before my little princess will be driving me about (thank GOD! - GRIN!)

I think you are going to have a wonderful record of where you live, and where you come from, when this is all finished.
