on my road ...

its real hard to get a scene lately without a burned out sky so i try to fix it up in photoshop.. might've overdone it here!! .. there's a way you can do it taking more than one photo, but you need to use a tripod ...
this is the original ...

the editing isn't too bad, it's just the focus really...

yup, i either use a polariser or nothing at all. so far, my lens is fine, noscratches, and i've cleaned it with my t-shirt often enough...

I like how you get those greens back with your editing.

A good polarizer would help a lot. There is a lot of difference in quality in them, and generally the best ones are pricey. We only get one opportunit to capture each image, so it is money well spent. Another trick learned from my brother was to shoot "naked", with no filter at all sometimes, esp when shooting away from the sun to get the deep blue in the sky.
This looks like a Florida backroads scene, except that there are no pine trees.

I think you did a great job! Did you use a gradient layer? You did it very well, and its amazing the difference it makes in your photo! I can't believe how much where you live looks like Texas. . .on the other side of the world. It makes the world seem like such a smaller place.

I'd love to live in a place like that, with the land and lots of space between neighbors. I love road pictures.
