 Vancouver is not just a coastal town in that it sits next to the water, Vancouver sits ON the water. The Fraser river pours it's way out of the mountains and opens up into a Delta. Vancouver and it's suberbs are caught between a myrad of tracks of water. What does this mean to Vancouverites? Well, other than having half the city flood if the water levels rise from global warming, it means we have bridges EVERYWHERE. I cross this bridge every day on my way to work. Thankfully, I seem to travel against the flow of traffic, so my commute isn't too bad.

This is a beautiful shot, from the great reflections to the vibrant blues, I like the added touches like the lights on the bridge and the few stars in the sky, very pretty shot.

Great shot, love the stars and the reflections. I didn't know that Vancouver was such a watery place, the Venice of Canada if you will!!

now that's just scary!

These two bridges are almost identical to the two bridges we have in Portsmouth. One of them now being defunct. I love the exposure that you got here! perhaps I'll have to go shoot my bridges again just to share.

i'd be pretty excited too if i'd taken the shot you did for day 1 and now this one ......
love the beautiful rich colours .. great composition ... that sky is just INTENSE!! .......

Great shot, well done exposing this shot too, thte lights aren't blownout, and Ilike reaing the backstory in each of your photos.
