Greetings from the Critique Club... -composition-
I love the composition of this portrait. The use of lines, and negative space absolutely help this photo go the extra mile in drawing my attention.
-contrast-
Wonderful job in using a wide array of shades. I would have liked to have seen some more contrast in the background, but overall I think you did a nice job.
-focus-
Excellent job, everything seems to be in sharp focus.
-lighting-
Very well lit, your choice in the placement of the light helped all of the details of the white dress to stand out.
-any other element of the photo that stands out or is lacking in some way-
I love this photo, you did an excellent job overall. Some things you may want to try in the future include textured background, and possibly addition of a little bit of color. You have a great talent for capturing expressions. Keep up the good work.
What a precious portrait. It's perfect. Well lit, sharp, lovely subject. Her expression makes the photo. Background is good - uncluttered. I just feel it needs a touch of colour somewhere.
Priceless expression. Beautiful capture in B&W. Very well lit. Appears a bit grainy, but does not deter from image quality. I love how the bow came out on the front of the dress. Good work.
Well the title suits this shot perfectly ! She is certainly a little princess for sure. Love the facial expression, like ok guys...enough..now can we play? ha ha ..anyway great shot I love it!
she really is a little princess, very sweet... love the choice of duo tones for this picture, and her expression is incomparable! such a precious portrait, very well executed... adding this one to my favorites when the challenge is over... 10.
What a cute little model!!! I like the black and white version very much but I wish I could see a colour version of it somewhere after the challenge will be over. 10
I LOVE this book, I have read it about 5-6 times! :-) Wonderful B&W shot and she is sooo cute, and unique idea in this challenge, congrats! She also looks scared, doesn't she like herself being photographed?
Her little sad face is lost against the white, I wonder if you chould have changed the white to a lower value I find my eye drawn to the white section on her chest. Priceless expression.
Aww... she wasn't enjoying this too much, was she? The background is bothering me a bit. A blanket or something like that would have done much better job I think.
