On a second review, I'm bumping this to an 8. This very creative and emotive work. I actually think that pulling out just a bit and adding touch more light on the model from the front (just enough so that more detail comes out and so that we can see her expression without straining) might have produced a fantastic shot.

Very creative, one of the few images in this challenge that tell a story. In fact, it looks like a still frame from a movie. I like the strong backlight, but a little more light from our side could have made her a stronger feature in the image without detracting from the mood.

Nice idea and I love the position of the model in the frame but the lighting is a little too dull for me

Very nice image and great use of lighting. The shoe is a bit of a distraction and the crop is a little too tight on the right side for my taste.

I like the low-key-ish lighting on this one. tells a story, with the pillow on the background and even the shoe. nice job :)

good color. aspect ratio makes the picture look stretched. crop is much too tight, especially at left and top

Lighting just seems a bit off here. I don't like that the lightest area is the foot, that is where your eye gets stuck.

I really love this photo, but I wish the soft light lit her just a little bit more. Maybe you could just work on it by brightening it a bit, I don't know. I give it a 6 with regret, because I think it could have easily been an 8.

awesome, I love it, maybe try burning the lower left corner too, the light seems unevenly bright in that area, you're probably getting dinged for darkness but the title really brings this out, love the setup with green walls and couch in the background

Ya know, this has so much potential.

I almost gave it a 5.

But I noticed myself looking more into this image, and then I read the title.

Good god, couldn't you put something more in the bg to give me more information that this is a Hotel.

I love this picture. I see what your after, but I just need that one thing that will scream "Hotel room". Like the "Do not disturb" sign, or a tv, a cheesy framed picture on the wall.

Wow.

Nice lighting, good blocking of model, good color, great tonal value, great emotinonal value, story telling good but needs more. Overall, a really great attempt.

I like the shadowy overall effect, but a little light on her face, at least in her eyes, would make it pop better and bring the eye to her, whereas now it's attracted to the background a bit more. But still very well done!

great back lighting, but maybe a little dark in the foreground. A little fill would help. Not sure if I like the crop or the shoes, the crop is too tight on all sides.

Great work. I like the colors here which are very nice and the pillows in the back in good focus provides it with a very natural feeling. Looks like a shot of a reglar day of the model rather than apose for a challenge. I think this is very different feel

Great lighting on the leg and hair. I wish there was light on a bit of the face too. Love the tones in this.

lots of great stuff going on here. very natural pose, and the situation tells a perfect story (made better coupled with that title). I'd have given it a bit more light myself, but understand some models are shy and not ready to be that exposed (may or may not be the case here)

either way, very nice job - should score well.
