Of the 34 comments I recieved, 21 mentioned that they hoped I used fictional Social Security numbers and names. I can assure you that I did. I even got an e-mail from Drew that requested that I withdraw the photo if they were real. I imagine there is some criminal out there somewhere, using fictitious Phillip Ferrell's name with his phony I.D. I hope he gets caught!!

I hope this isn't the real address, and SS#s. I feel your pain though. I give up and have mine done professionally. Great use of a pencil, and the focus on this is amazing. lighting and frame placement are also good. good luck in the challenge.

The photo is an original idea,,.. I just hope those names and socal security #s are fake... in the wrong hand that would be bad...
08/25/2002 10:51:00 PM
these aren't your real children's S.S. numbers are they???
08/25/2002 02:40:00 PM
Hope these are not the real SSNs!

i appreciate the concept, and i wish the image were less predictable and more interesting ... no surprises here; 5 sjgleah

Composition, clarity, color are all good. The desk top color at bottom and top left, to me, pull the eye away from the main focus of the subject which is well-done with the form, pencil and calculator. The desk color is distracting. Otherwise I really like it.

You're publishing a lot of information about yourself here. :)
08/24/2002 07:25:00 PM
I sure hope that is not real information!!!!!.

The calculator puts the composition a bit out of ballance.

I question your judgment in disclosing your family's name, address and SSNs. I hope the data is fake for your sake.
08/22/2002 08:51:00 PM
Nice pun on words. I've been there more than once.

Hey, my grandparents are from Mt. Pleasant, PA! I'll give you a good mark even though that's not the right ZIP Code (15666). :)

Don't remind me!

Very interesting shot... You can feel the frustration...

This is exactly why I use a computer.... Nice photo. Focus looks good. Lighting looks good. Meets the challenge.

Don't remind us!!!
08/20/2002 02:34:00 PM
i hope those numbers are fake. I like tjhe rubbed off eraser partcils, nice touch but were is what ever it was that you were erasing.
08/20/2002 02:31:00 PM
Wow, I hope that's a fake address, names and SS#'s! Lot's of weirdo's out there. :-) I like the chew marks on the pencil, it adds that extra touch of "frustration".
08/20/2002 10:24:00 AM
I like the idea but visually this has low appeal for me.

Good arrangement and a good take on the challenge.
08/19/2002 05:43:00 PM
I hope these are made up ss#'s and names....
(just being paranoid for you).
08/19/2002 04:02:00 PM
I'd unsubmit this one if those SSNs are real. Just a thought.
08/19/2002 02:24:00 PM
you might not want your social security numbers on the internet
that having been said i'll vote high 'cause i admire your guts
peace
08/19/2002 01:50:00 PM
I hope those are Fake SSN
08/19/2002 01:48:00 PM
Good setup shot. Not too busy, but the whole frame is filled. Do your taxes in blue or black ink, and I hope those SSNs are made up.
08/19/2002 12:07:00 PM
I hope the social security numbers are fake.
08/19/2002 10:19:00 AM
...but did your give your $3.00 to the Presidential Election Campaign?
08/19/2002 09:31:00 AM
This is a great photo... but please, please, PLEASE tell me that those Social Security Numbers are fake!! I work for a bank, so I know firsthand that in most cases the information you have here is all a common crook would need to use your identity. --8-- sohr
08/19/2002 05:44:00 AM
Hope these aren't real ssn's
08/19/2002 03:12:00 AM
Yikes! Doesn't look like you made those SSNs up. As for the photo, I like the framing. What are the red marks? 7
08/19/2002 01:55:00 AM
I hope this is not your real address or ssn's!!!! Like the photo though, I can feel the frustration of doing taxes, the broken pencil and the eraser bits make that feeling come across!!!
08/19/2002 01:14:00 AM
i hope those are fictional SSNs for fictional children
