I think this shot was very under-rated. Something about the starkness of a herd animal standing alone in a cold field evokes emotion to me. |

I love these animals. I really like the comp on this. I really like all the space around him and the b&w conversion works well. Bumping up to 8 |

Nice, gritty, old west feel to this shot ... which lends itself well to the subject. A little more shadow detail in the face would be preferred (though perhaps tough given the dynamic range), and the composition makes the this large beast seem quite small actually ... you don't get a sense of scale. |

A tighter crop would help. There is a lot of open space that doesn't add anything to your photo. |
