awesome sense of movement conveyed here...I like the composition as well

Zooming in or out is not motion panning.
01/22/2007 04:41:04 PM
Not motion panning but interestingly good.
01/21/2007 05:39:19 PM
Not really motion panning
01/21/2007 08:46:44 AM
I really like the perspective on this. Captures relative speed very, very well.
01/20/2007 10:15:40 PM
not a motion pan
01/20/2007 02:27:29 PM
I don't think the subject is in focus enough
01/19/2007 11:44:09 PM
nice radial blur (I assume)
01/19/2007 11:35:57 PM
definitely a creative take on the challenge...

That is so hard to look at, it feels like I am moving when I look at it. Pretty cool!
01/19/2007 02:10:56 PM
This doesn't seem to meet the challenge. No panning here.
01/19/2007 02:02:49 PM
I like this very much not your standard side pan. I am going to try this myself next time I go for a ride. 8

One of the few exciting photos in this challenge. I'm interested to know more about how you captured this image. 9.
01/19/2007 09:32:58 AM
not motion panning
01/19/2007 03:40:35 AM
This is more of a zoom burst than a motion panning shot in my opinion and so feel it doesn't meet the challenge.

The image is very nice and your zoom burst technique is very good, but as I said it doesn't meet the challenge and so I must mark it down accordingly....sorry

Man, that's tricky on your brain :) I did something like this (but no biker) a little over a year ago. Fun, isn't it? :)
01/18/2007 07:09:22 PM
I really like the angle of this, kind of feel's like your being sucked in
01/18/2007 02:59:59 PM
This is motion blur..not panning motion.
01/18/2007 12:19:54 PM
Makes me feel like I'm in time travel!
01/18/2007 06:34:42 AM
cool effect
01/18/2007 04:17:29 AM
I suppose that you tried to follow the rule of thirds, but in that case i think that a centered subject will work better. Very nice shot.
01/17/2007 10:19:08 PM
is this panning? nice motion effect though
01/17/2007 04:27:08 PM
Would have been cool if the biker were more in focus.
01/17/2007 03:33:32 PM
Panning, or zooming? I guess the effect is similar.
01/17/2007 03:33:19 PM
Motion zooming. Hmm. 4

Sorry...this isn't panning. Panning would be following the subject left to right or up and down.
01/17/2007 01:25:10 AM
Like the shot - would like to hear how it was done.
01/17/2007 01:01:11 AM
Gives the impression of you having just raked back the zoom on your lens. But I'll work on the assumption you were on another bike or car following along behind, which I guess sort of qualifies as MP.
01/17/2007 12:50:19 AM
Very cool, but I would like him to be more in focus
01/17/2007 12:39:30 AM
Oh, boy, this is a nice picture, but it's zooming, not panning.
