 I ahot this for the Off-Centered Subject II Challenge and ended up entering something else. At the time I did not think the subject in this was off-centered enough. Oh well. Anyway I sort of remember the set up: I had the glass filled with water on top of a pile of books with a piece of dark blue paper on the top. Two box lids were on either side to block out the lights shining on the flowers behind which were in front of another blue background. I know I was challenged by the glare of the lights on the glass and the set up was an attempt to minimalize that.

Post: Well just the normal stuff, I'm sure: Layer adjustments for levels, brightness/contrast and hue/saturation. Sharpen. I do not think I used NI but may have. Definitely some cloning and healing of the glare of the lights on the glass particularly on the stem. Resize. Sharpen.

Nice use of color, i like the flowers in the background shining through the glass and the water bubble with the little bubbles cascading down.

I really like this shot.

I like the bold colours, clean lines, use of the vase as a lens, etc etc.

I'm not completely sure about the crop, but all in all a great shot. well done.

Can't take my eyes off of this one. I absolutely love the contrast of the blue and yellow colors. Lovely lines and the small bubbles add a wonderful detail. I wish they were a bit sharper but that's a nit pick. I'm bumping this up another one as I comment on it. 9
If this doesn't top ten I'll be surprised!
