 I was very fortunate to catch the kids that I used to babysit for playing on their scooters in the neighbor's driveway. They were having a blast so I got plenty of opportunities to practice turning my body in time with their speed. I used a slightly slower shutter speed to get the motion in the background. I got several shots that showed a greater contrast between the blurred background and clear kid but I liked this one the most because when he went around the corner the wind change blew up his hair and his face was more concentrated than normal and gave the picture more excitement. I had alot of fun doing this shoot.

I like the everyday feel of this with the stop sign, the neighborhood street. The wisp of hair blowing up adds to the idea of "speed", too.

Nice sense of motion. One thing that might help improve this image is if there was more space to the front of the little boy (where he's flying into), less behind - IMO it would both give a better sense of motion and would make for a more dynamic composition.
