A very striking and beautiful image. Composition - with position of flower and shadow within the frame - works very well. In this instance I like the way the subject escapes the border.
Water droplets and lighting add interest. |

| Ooooo... this is good. But why is the rose green? The delicacy of a rosebud is accentuated by it's warm, delicate colors. If you wanted to give off a feeling of desolation, why not place the rose in snow instead of just a plain white backround? |

| Beautiful crisp focus and nice (unexpected) color treatment. The only things I'd quibble with are the water droplets on the rose, which seem sort of conspicuous and added-on. Great picture overall. |
