Critique Club: This meets the challenge well, with strong leading lines off to infinity (hence hitting the challenge spot on obviously)

However, I feel its like a stage waiting for the actors to appear - someone walking with a red jacket, or riding a horse through the scene - maybe a car driving along. All these leading lines bring you in, but don't take you anywhere - there's no payback. So while it is right on target for the challenge, I think it needs something more as a picture in general.

The time of day/ amount of shade has meant you've blown the sky highlights. Also - the wide open aperture means the whole scene is a bit soft - something around f8 would have given you much more depth of field and kept the detail in the leaves - though you'd probably have needed a tripod.

Looks like a great place to take a walk. Could use sharpening.

The subject, color balance, and perspective all work very well in this photo. The only downside is the perpendicular sun lines on the road. It tends to break up the line to infinity. A section of road that was lined up with the sun would have worked better.

Hard to say now, but if you had taken this during a different time of day, you would have gotten some amazing yellows through the trees. plus, maybe if you tried standing to one side of the road and got down lower it would help give a nice perspective to it

One small sugestion, Try converting this to sepia or gray scale what you'll notice is the amazing coposition in a shot like this without the collor to distract.

This is a lovely woodland setting that lifts the picture above the cliche road going off into the distance.
