the portrait is too centered, but it's a nice shot. i don't think the horizontal lines help it at all.

I feel the lines across the photo spoil it, would liked to have seen better lighting on his left hand side as the shadow of his nose is off putting. sorry

Interesting choice of processing, I tried that once, but it didnt fare too well for me :P

Hope it works better for you! Other than that, nice looking model, good composition :)

I realy don't understand this picture! Centered composition, empty staring eyes, harsh lighting, unnatural crop, and the processing is not to my taste either.
