I keep meaning to - it's a good way to get exercise and both a good start to the day and a nice way to unwind on the way home. It's just the logistics - how to get clothes and shower stuff to work? What to do if you need to run an errand mid-day? All lousy excuses. I live even closer to work now, and there are bike paths nearly the whole way, so I WILL ride it to work this year at least some of the time.

Ya know what? I can't find anything other than this photograph is just too smooth and subtle to have been picked up on properly in a challenge.....you won't get people to take the time to really look at it. They want the Icelandic shock photos. If I was visiting, and this was in the hallway between the kitchen and the main room, I would have gotten stuck there admiring it. Very nice shot.

I gave this a 7 in voting. I wondered if it was yours. It seemed to have your "classic" lines look but not your lighting. I guess you miss the old apartment for the light!

Come on girl...get on the bike!! You will wonder how you ever lived without it!
And you 'll end up with a killer butt : )

I think this came in lower than it should. People commenting that it needed the title, I'm not really sure. Clearly it shows a bike, so what else does it mean other than "I've put off riding my bike".

Photos of bicycles are so romantic.. and this one with the whitewalls and the little fender bar... ups the sentiment a notch. I love the contrasts created by the backlighting. This deserved better.

Heh. I have the same problem, Deb. I did manage to ride regularly last summer when I knew I had to get in shape or end up dead while hiking in the Alps.

without a title, this image wouldn't stand on its own.
