frame is too thick, but I love it otherwise

Well, I'm not really interested in male nudes (;>รพ) but this is an image that has a powerful impact. Sculptured body like a Greek statue.

I'm not sure this qualify's 100% as a portrait, but anyways, I can't see it too well because of the distracting frame.

Great image, just a bit soft for my taste, 7.

Just a bit too soft to rate top 10, but good none-the-less.

successful landscape effect. 7

Somehow this shot seems too contrived for me. Also, it feels like it has WAY too much wasted forground. 5 Sorry ...

...wonderful interpritation...easy on the border size, less is more.

mmm i've already seen this pic before in internet.. maybe is the same composition.. i don't know..
01/12/2007 11:28:15 AM
fantastic lighting ... I would like to see a bit less foreground and a bit more room above your back ...

I liked this one more:

This makes me think of a young Christopher Reeve. I'd rather not have so much of the fabric in the foreground. Have a bit more light and shadow on the man. The pose seems a tad awkward. It's not awful, I'm just hoping this critique is helpful.6

This photo stood out for me as being different from a lot of photos in this challenge. The lighting is great, brill.

Would have liked more breathing space at the top and less foreground blackness...but that's just my opinion. Nice control of contrast.

Very tastefully done, what raw emotion.
01/11/2007 01:49:10 AM
great!

great shot. i think that you could do without the foreground and make a great panoramic-format shot of the body.

The focus is off, otherwise it has some potential.

Exposed and smooshed at the top of the frame. This must be what claustrophobia feels like! Very dramatic
01/10/2007 05:48:24 PM
Nicely composed. I like how ripples in the tarp/blanket/sheet/whatever sort of mimic lines on the body ... very complimentary forms. It seems a tad soft around the face, which should be the sharpest point IMO. Well done.

Looks very uncomfortable. Lighting needs work. Image doesn't really interest me.
01/10/2007 01:41:14 PM
