Perhaps a little bit too much grain for me, but a HILARIOUS expression!!

I just love this, Greetmir! The expression, the B&W, the grain slammed like crazy, the title driving the cause of the expression. A superb melding of elements guaranteed to garner a low score and render a fantastic picture and story! Good work, sir!

The technicals: The processing is well done. I do think you did a good job with the image grain. Lighting is nice as the high contrast helps the grainy feel. (it's probably a product of the processing as much as the original lighting).

The feel: Creative expression, but much to "stylized" for me. It's obvious it's a posed look. Without the title, what would we have? A charicature. That probably hurt you with a number of voters, but helped greatly with a few.

The game: Image grain is a tough sell here (although personally I love it). This shot was meant to speak to a few, not the mass audience.

I have to comment again when it's not so hurried. I really liked the energy and post processing on this. It was very creative and the light hearted naming rang a bell with everyone.

what?

Funny. over the top but still fun and dramatic. the processing allows us to take the extreme expression less seriously. 7

I like the grain, maybe a little to much. 5 on your shot, would be 6 or 7 with a little less grain in the hands and face....ace

I think this would have been a better pic without the photoshop effect applied. The lighting looks like it was just right.

I like this exprssive portrait, however I think you exagerated the noise effect a bit. Ofcourse if it's postproccessed as I think it is.
