I can't believe this is not in my fav's I know I gave it a 10.
My wife looks after children with disabilities so I wanted to show her this image but I couldn't find it in my fav's...... shame on me.
As I said in my comments "brilliant" is what this image is. |

| I can't believe I have yet to fav this shot! One sweet inspiring pic! Very well done and a 6.14 is just plain rediculous on a shot like this. The composition and subject are wonderful and the color tones etc. are also pleasing. So well done! |

I absolutely love this "emotive" image. so very much Shannon. Yes, it also brings tears to my eyes as well.
You are also an angel, IMO, for capturing this beautiful inspiring photo, for us all to see, and share.
Thank you so very much sweet girl, and both you and I, have a kindred spirit, thats for sure.
I am amazed at your thoughtfulness, and kind heart, to actually be inspired with the magic you have, behind that camera of yours.

| easily one of the most inspiring images on the site. i'm so glad you entered in, as now, it will be part of the dpc permanent record. even though i'm not a huge fan of how you processed it, the underlying message is so strong that you really couldn't mess it up if you tried. |

I remember seeing this shot, and also reading the accompanying story behind it which obviously benefits me over other people who haven't read it.
Purely on the photograph though and the perfectly timed nature of this candid i'd give it a strong 8.

I am making an assumption here and guessing that this young man has Cerebral Palsy. Reguardless of what his condition is - it truly is mighty for him to be out and about on the beach with his walker. Hard packed land can be hard enough. - As for the technical merrit I think this photo would be better served taken later in the day so that there is not so much glare off of the ocean. Give this kid a big old congrats from me! I think its awesome!

technically rubbish - but sometimes it's less about handling your camera perfect & just hitting the bullseye with a solid, evocative image.
