 Wow, thanks for all the comments. Didn't expect to do this well on my second entry, though I still think I could've done a lot better on this shot. Unfortunately, the parade began as I was climbing the hill to get to a higher viewpoint, so I had to stop and shoot. If I had more time, I like to think that I would've framed it better. Thanks again to all the voters.

This is, quite possibly, my favorite fireworks shot ever. This shot should take the Blue ribbon or if you title said yellow will captured 3rd place!

Very nice shot, gave it a 7, like everything about it except I would have wanted a wider shot to see all the firework or at least more of it and also it´s kindof too blown out for my taste, the rest I like.

Well executed. But the different elements of the photo seem a bit incongruous, they don't quite come together somehow.

I suspect it would have been a better photo either without the firework (though not for this challenge, obviously) or without the car-light trails.

Loving the colour and texture of the sand, though.

Interesting background. The sky looks very light and the fireworks look strangely different, I guess from the length of the exposure. Interesting, though.

wish there was less foreground an more of the fountain in the image. sky is a bit noisy.

Good idea and motive, it would have been better if you would have aimed your camera a bit higher so you would have got more of the fireworks in the frame, but that's hard to see before the shot. 6 from me, happy new year and good luck!

This is a pretty good composition with the mountains lit up by the skiers and the landscape included in the burst of fire on the left. I think the shot could improve with a little less brightness overall and maybe a bit of contrast. I like the shot, but it just looks a little washed out to me. I hope that helps some. Good luck in the challenge.
