|I wasn't going to enter this challenge, as I thought it was to hard.
Being part of the "Outcast" team, re "WPL", we found ourselves reaching the semi finals. I had to do something, as a couple of our members are not entering any challenges at the moment, due to personal reasons.
We got to the finals with four members, so I knew I had to at least try.
I remembered my set of angels I had on display in my lounge room, and that gave me the idea for this image.
I went out and brought five wooden curtain rings, about two inches in diameter. I spray painted these with gold lustre paint.
I then arranged the two single larger angels at the back on a backdrop of black velvet fabric, and placed the group of three smaller angels at the front.
This is when it became hard, as I then had to stand the five individual gold painted rings up, in a semi circle at the front of the angles, and this proved to be difficult.
I finally got it all into place, and this is the result.
Not much processing, as it looked really good in the raw format, straight out of the camera. A little burning re the background, with a couple of spots of cloneing and dodgeing.
A small amount of saturation, no more than five percent. Some highlighting and thats about it, and then resized, and saved for web.
