A rather unconventional Christmas Day.
My daughter Heather & I went hiking around in Red Rocks near her house and just enjoyed the day together.

Very striking relaxed portrait. In particular the way her cloths mimic/complement her surroundings. The added pp effect is also quite nice.

eta: A wasn't just apeing Melethia's comment, honest!

I love how the coloring of her hair and clothing match the surroundings - very nice light here, too.

I really like everything about this image except for the glasses. They pragmatize the image and take it out of the realm of near fantasy....not explaining it properly I'm sure but in short...they are just so distracting that I cannot fully appreciate the rest of the image as well as if they had not been there. Your model and her apparel and her gorgeous hair all fit so well with the scene....except for...well you know...those things on her face. Heck the sneakers even work for me but not the specs....I think losing both sneaks and specs would have made this better. Damn fine on the whole.9.

There's an etherial glow to this that is really captivating. Nice composition and technicals, and nice job adding that emotional charge to a lovely shot. 10

Supercool light in this photograph. The technicals are all perfect and so is the artistic. Great job!

Not how I would have had one of my photo subjects dress, but I have to say, this is a very flattering portrait. Thanks for sharing!
