 Just trying some stuff in photoshop
This one I used about 4 layers set to multiply mode on the sky. Did a little painting on the trees and water using a 50% grey layer set to overlay, then painting over with the colour you want with brush set to about 12% opacity.
Plus the usual levels, curves etc.

Great almost HDR effect. The clouds are great and I really like the 3D feeling.

This is Freshwater Bay, Swan river, looking at point resolution, from Claremont. Where all the rich and shameless live, hehe... I like to hang around there and lower the property values. : )
