 I don't sew for a living, but do make some of the costumes for the high school theatre department. I have always enjoyed creating works of art that people can wear.

Interesting macro. If you do this again, it may be good to try for greater DOF that would include the foreground. I really like the texture of the metal and the thread.

Very nice techinicals and a good macro. Not sure if you purposely chose that color of clothe or not, but I do think it works well for this photo. Well done!
