I don't quite get the point of the processing. There's a lot of posterisation going on in the red spot in the top right too. |

I totally love that sky but the rest of the shot, not so much. Whatever you did to the mountain range and ground in post processing just makes it seem very flat constrast wise and reduces all detail and texture in it, just seems very poorly dodged/burned to me. Still voted 6 though as I LOVE that sky, wish the rest of the image had been in similar quality. |

when i saw the challenge was harsh environments i thought of the movie total recall and planet mars,so thi is kinda what i had in mind. although i wonder if it was possible to make the snow look less white. anyhow.great job.8 |
