Took this downtown while shooting for another challenge. I dont get down here as much as I would like as the kids are usually attached to me. Not sure if this will do well (doing well for me is hitting at least a 6 I guess) but I like this image. I like the colors of the bricks, the colors of the wall underneath, the way the escape steps stand out. I guess my only wish would be to have been able to shoot the steps from a second floor rather than the street. I have a couple of odd curves going on with the sidewalk edge and the roof top. Thats just the way they were and no matter how I cropped it the curves were still there. Everything else is level with the horizon.

I like the overall photo but I think it would be stronger with a tighter crop focusing on the fire escape and arched windows.

Nice fun image. a unique view. I would have prefered this to be perfectly straight, but its nice all the same.

My Personal view: A little crop from the bottom to remoce the street would have improved the photograph. I do not know, probably not,..

needs tighter cropping - I'd have taken both columns of windows off the right and left hand side & perhaps focused more on the fire escape.....

I was going to do the same thing. I took several shots but I couldn't get the perspective corrected because of basic editing so I changed pictures. Very nice job though. 7
