Taken at Baker Beach with cutlassdude70. I used a blue/gold polarizer cokin filter.

Reminds me of the color spectrum I was trying to achieve in this shot of mine:

But yours is much cleaner and better....

The light is good, but, to me, the composition falls apart in two parts, separated by the line of water. The dramatic change in texture (smoothness of the sand vs. the small details in the water and the clouds) and colour temperature (colder colours at the top vs. warmer at the bottom) between the two parts is only emphasizing this compositional problem. You need some "glue" between these two parts.

disturbingly humanoid pattern in the sand in FG, almost like a eroded figure of a man

Beautiful colours, beautiful exposure. I really love the look of the wet sand, I think that's my favourite part of this photo.

As much as I try not to love seascapes and sunsets, man, this is jut beautiful. The rich tones and the wonderful perspective. Great use of the portrait orientation as well. Good job.

Beautiful, the sand, the sky, the waves, and the composition that draws your eyes into the rest of the photo. 10 and a favorite from me. Probably a ribbon too.
