Oh no. . . don't self dq. . .this is awesome! I love this picture. And taking pictures is what you do. ..it fits perfectly. This was one of my favorites!

I think a narrower DOF would have helped this shot. Did you think about retaining some colour just in the trombone?
lots of potential for playing with different angles and perspectives on the sax with this concept. The angling of the shot is a good idea, but maybe it leaves the instrument itself just a little too central? |

| Nice contrast and range. The border is rather uneven and that's a bit distracting. |

| I love the image, and it is a good fit for the challenge; the border, however, is not too good, especially because it is so uneven (three different widths in the black). ~8 (higher without the border :) ) |

| Thats not just a sax mind you... Isn't that a bari sax? Maybe a touch more of levels to really make the sax pop would be nice. It seems slightly flat to me. Nice image though. |
