One of your better photographs in my opinion. Brings a whole new shot into the sphere of our understanding...especially in regards to your part of the world...

Ah, I don't understand; I'd have nailed this as a winner, but then we get these funny, fairly obvious images up there, and this down in 37th. But I don't understand those preferences, so I wouldn't understand the results now, would I? Even through that glass, I'm certain this deserved better.

But I also think your stuff has changed since you've been a part of this place - no mean feat for an experienced photographer, and for 'just' a web site. Maybe it's just the 10-22, and its oddly likeable lack of distortion, but I think it's not that simple. The question would be - has your stuff improved? Or has it become more DPC oriented? Or is that just the stuff you show here? Intriguing ...

Anyhow, thanks for your appreciation of my stuff, and here's to a fulfilling 2007.

Lovely composition. The reds in the shells really complement the sky. Good job with the tone mapping. 9

Beautiful shot, the pink and orange tones in the foreground are very vibrant and help ground the image from near to far, and are an interesting detail to add to a landscape. Lovely overall. 10

This is an immensely pretty scene. I'm assuming, on the basis of the location and title that this is Bear's work, but I wouldn't stake my life on that. I'm not sure whether the grassy stuff was positioned by the photog or just found that way - if the latter is true I must congratulate you on your great eye.

I torn as to whether the treatment of the shells is a little much - they border on neon, but ultimately I think it works. 8.

Beautiful colors, fantabulous composition, and a subject that aches to be seen. May the front page gods shine on you this week.

Interesting and beautiful colors. I like the lines and blocks (for lack of a better word) of color and texture created by all of the elements in this image. Very nice seen and composed.

Without being a great follower of his stuff, I'd still have to say this was Robert's. It bears (forgive pun) the hallmarks of the HDR, and the compositional sense, and the flat-landscape. Fine work, as usual. I wish i could get more excited about landscapes these days ...
