In addition to what has already been said, I will remind you that the human eye naturally goes to the brightest point in any image - in this case and a couple of others you posted, the brightest spot is in the middle of the backdrop, causing the eye to move away from the subject. Try a little more light on the subject to help balance that. Otherwise nice job for a first-timer. :)

Yeah I agree with SJCarter that it looks a tad soft. Perhaps (if you haven't already) use some USM before saving for web. I like the idea of the portrait though. He's got a great expression. Well done!

Cute set up & shot. The focus seems a tad soft to me and I would probably crop much closer. Great color and the lighting is pretty good.

Cute posing! Esp. the barefeet. Not loving the backdrop. Conisder moving your model further away or take a look at the portrait lighting thread for some useful tips.
