::: Greetings from Critique Club :::

I have had the privilege of writing a critique on your photograph.

First Impression - the most important one:
Wow that is freakin sweet...there are some areas that could have made this just super sweet.

Composition:
I like the overall composition with the diagonal lines and all. In my opinion I would have only used one plane. In your composition I follow the first planes lines and end up moving on the second plane I think this photographs well if you can stay on one subject area.

Subject:
The subject here being the plane in the sky is just is just a tad soft on the plane maybe some selective sharpening on just the plane region.

Technical (Colour, focus, and light):
I could however tell that this was done using the same plane. Maybe just using one plane going across and working more on the sky to enhance the planes appearance this could also be done in post processing. The exposure looks pretty good, worked well for you here.

To grow its vote?:
Very tough to increase voting scores but I would say just some post processing or just thinking how the voters think could make some good changes.

Summary:
Overall very nice. Good photograph to learn from.
Keep up the good work.

I really like the composition...The placement of the planes and their trails make it more dynamic

Dramatic cloudss and colours, but the planes compromise it, imo, as they appear too artificial in this composition.

Nice job of portraying the problems in the sky. Perfect title. This gets a 9 from me on these levels:

composition
serious subject matter
interesting to look at!!
People need to see this to make them THINK.

How awesome is THAT! Such amazing sharpness and drama with those colors and the silhouetted foreground. I also love how the composition is enhanced by perfect use of the rule of thirds! Excellent EXCELLENT photography! 10

I like the colour and subject but I'd like to see a tighter crop without the trees and using the rule of thirds.

Excellent concept. My one criticism is that the contrail on a plane does not come off the tail, it comes off the engines, so your placement is incorrect. Most people wont realize this, but I grew up on an airbase. Great job and near seamless insertion of the planes, keep up the good work.

The action of the fighter planes is too far right compositionally, at least for me. Great sky and composite work.

I love this image on so many levels. How many have mentioned the evil cloud face in the background I wonder. I might have cropped a bit more off the bottom as it tends to like a bit dirty to me but that is so nitpicky... My pick for a ribbon.

jet condenses at 30000 feet and above thus the image should look in 2D not as you have presented here. nice try though.

I like the colors and sky, but I don't know if the trees go with it.

Very nice, I would have liked to see just one plane though, it would make it look more realistic.
