Challenge: Something New (Classic Editing)
Camera: Fujifilm FinePix 2600Z
Location: My new apartment
Date: Aug 8, 2002
Aperture: f 3.5
ISO: 100
Shutter: 1/20
Date Uploaded: Aug 11, 2002

This is my first submission after stumbling across the site this week so what better subject than my couple month old new Fuji 602z. It's just a simple shot done with my, now old, Fuji 2600z. Interestingly enough I shot it in my (something) new apartment which I just moved in to a couple weeks ago. It's nothing exciting or imaginative, but it is new.

Would be nice, if the box was in the photo and maybe a birthday card...

Definately something new. But how new is it REALLY?? I bet you've already taken hundreds of photos with it and it's probably only a few hours old. LOL. I'm just playing. It's late and I just realized I missed 6 photos for commenting on. The lighting is great and the angle is very nice. You have different colors in your lens. Naturally, I'm impressed seeing as that I have a HP 315. LOL. and can barely SEE my lens let alone have different colors in it. Great depiction of something new. Good luck in the challenge.

Meets challenge: Without title how would I know it's new? I guess compared to older cameras.
Technical aspects: Pretty clear, although some lost detail.
Artistic Merit: good background for contrast, but uninspiring.
Suggestions: Taken outdoors maybe in an attractive setting, and perhaps showing a scene or subject for the camera to photograph would add more interest.

Hope to see some great shots from your new toy. Good composition, but it would be nice to have gotten a bit more light to pull out detail from the dark camera body.
