I took one million shots of this dog trying so hard to get his eyes in focus with the little light I had. This shot which was second to last had Booker looking so weird that I just couldn\'t stop laughing so I figured this had to be the one to submit. It was such a fluke also that the background worked so well with his colours.

RAW Conversion
Saturated Eyes and adjusted them to look similar to the wall
Desaturated out the blue in the black fur
Sharpened eyes
Made his orange areas stand out a tiny bit more
Burned a little of Booker\'s forehead where it was a touch overexposed.
Burned floor a touch to bring out some details
Added border

why did you use a Macro lens. Seems clear, but could of had a sharper focus.

8 - Good Lord.. I thought this was a statue/figurine. Good portrait and very good background/elements. Nice colors. Good focus/focal areas. Perhaps the main thing is an odd 'finish' to the image, which could be post processing.. that and the tip of the tail, but fairly minor.

I love the setting! and your point of view makes his/her butt look small and the front large...it's kinda funny!

The eyes on this pic crack me up and it looks like he (or she) is ready to talk. Love it!

I'm really worried you're just messing with me and you aren't gonna throw my ball..

Great pose. The angle accentuates nicely the odd shapeness of this dog. Very nice work - especiallyconsidering its a stinky dog ;) 8 for now.

This one should be part of an ad for Fido (the cell phone company)! Booker looks like there's been some trouble brewing somewhere. Wonder where the chewed up stuff is hidden? *grin*

good DOF, focus is spot on. might be picky, but the tail shouldn't have been cropped
