5 - Nice capture, especially of the light. Wish the dog wasn't getting lost within the surrounds as much and the light was a little more subtle. |

Way too many highlights on the face. Lots of noise in the background. |

The books are distracting in the back, as well as the shadow that's on the right side of the photo. |

nice photo, the books are a little distracting IMO. Maybe a tighter crop on the face to let those beautiful eyes supply real impact... |

Nice lighting on the right side of the face. To me, a portrait should have even lighting and either a plain background or a backdrop that enhances the subject. |

Love the look on the dogs face, but the backround is too busy. |
