 This huge rock, over 100 feet in height, is popularly known as "Bheemana Bande". According to the legend, a small rock under this huge boulder was kicked by the legendary Bheemasena of Mahabharatha from Hastinavathi (now Delhi) to display his strength to his mother Kunthi. Legend says that it traveled all the way to this place (Hassan) in Karnataka!!!

My goodness. Where is this? Very interesting image. The play between gigantic and small is great, the perspective really captures the size of the boulder. Lighting is great, I'm not sure it really feels lonely or solitary to me though. Still a technically sound image. 7

what a remarkable image...I look forward to finding out where and what it is...certainly gives a sense of a place to be alone, textures are good -seems a bit precarious, maybe you created the whole thing...very interesting overall 7
