I can think of a 1,001 reasons why this photo will be hammered. However, I desperatley need to get the creative back into my regular work, so I am going to enter this anyway in hopes it will get me into the mood to be... creative and less dreary. More so, it was just an excuse for a nice hike.
These falls are actually 65 feet tall, this is just the very upper part. I'll have to wait till the end of hunting season to go back, it was too slippery and steep for my hubby to make the trek down from here, and I wasn't going to attempt going down alone no matter how much orange I was wearing. I kept having visions of panicked deer knocking my tripod down the falls too... We're planning another trek soon from a different direction thats less hazardous on the jeep and on my company. LOL :)
Raw convert, Rotated, cropped square, Gothic Glow, Curves, Hue/Sat dropped and darkened, noiseninja, selective sharpening, selective burning, gratuitous dodge and burn. Resize, sharpen up where needed.
(At the last minute.. Kryta came along and said "Mom, you know... theres too much green stuff distracting from the pretty stuff in your picture. Submit the other one you did." I hemmed and hawed and refused to beleive that my editing was under the scruitiny of a 10 year old, but he was right. Dangitall. *sigh* Thanks kiddo.) |
