These are the basic figures from a nativity set I got several years ago as a gift. I like the way emotion is expressed in these purely through pose. I had a porcelain set but it was kind of sterile to me, emotively speaking.

I like the cracks. Very nice. I like how you used the candles(?) in the background. Very subtle as a background.

You're right, they are very emotive. The rustic wood look really adds charm and character too. I like the use of the OOF stars in the background.
