what makes this work for me is the strong counterdiagonal of the roof, which "disappears" behind the subject. 7. I just talked myself into an 8

There are way too many entries in this contest where people simply tilted there camera to create a diagonal image...

The skewed angle doesn't work well with this shot. Had you shot it in portrait using the chains as the leading lines and then rotated it, I think it would have been better. I do like the b&w conversion and the detail you picked up. However this shot make me wish my neck was made of rubber.
