 i took the picture from atop a parking ramp late at night.. tracing the car's path made for a great effect (making the road melt into an ocean of color)

i also like the contrast with the blue and orange. i hope it fits the criteria.

I love this one! The colors are beautiful, the composition works well, and I think it fits the challenge. It has a very "abstract" feel (which I think is very nice!), and has such a "soft focus" feel to it , and generally speaking, those don't go over very well at dpc. But, I don't think that you should worry much about the voters - this is very nice work -I would be proud of it!

I like the 'ocean of color' effect too! It would have been better without the 'red tail' imho, but hey, you can't influence everything ;o)

it's obviously an SUV. I dunno kids, the headlight (you can't miss them) the tail light, the SUV look of the car...
c'mon.
i gave it a 10 i love the backround colors. they're incredible.

thanks for all the kind remarks ;) it makes me feel a lot better about how low my score was during the challenge.. nobody knew what the picture was... i can't complain i guess.

This photo is a poem. As a poet, people frequently ask me, what something is or what it means. I tell them: what do I know? It's an esoteric document I'm studying. It's the play of the mind I'm after, but when the heart gets involved, I fly.

It really is surprising how some photographs are underapreciated. I like this photo a lot, I don't know how people do not recognize what it is. But really, you don't have to know, to apreciate it. Colors and movement are great. Keep up your good work, and don't get sad about these scores and comments.

As an abstract, the white and red distract too much, as a photograph there's nothing to identify with. The colors are pretty though as well as the the flow.

I'm afraid I can't really tell what this is a picture off. It says lone sailor but.. I'm not seeing anything sailory. I can't determine what that thing is in the middle, I'm sure its painfully obvious but my eyes don't seem to be picking it up. I do like the colors, it gives a feeling of movement. I would give a higher score though if I could understand the image - its very much lost on me. 3

cool abstract shot. nice to see some creative art in the fray here. I hope that the "flower crew" here doesn't hit ya too hard - I like and appreciate this shot. I really like the parallel you drew here with the title. cool.
