Nice idea. I know it's difficult photographing these little varmits ;-) but try and get the head in focus next time. Good luck in the challenge.

I wonder how this would look cropped to the bottom left quarter (ie, with the thorax as top right, and the wings as the significant element).

Nice capture; wish the dragonfly was totally in focus and the right-side wings were stretched out, but he probably wouldn't hold still for a retake.
